Name: Ijad Ahmed Saeed Al-Shaybani Education: B.A. Arabic Language & Islamic studies / curriculum Dev. Specialist Hometow Taiz, Yemen Jihad graduated from Sana’a University’s Language College with a bachelor degree in Arabic language & Islamic studies in 2005. He has worked at YCMES since 2008, and has advised numerous doctoral and master’s students from international universities. Topics for such students have ranged from Islamic history, Yemeni social hierarchical structures, to Sufism in Yemen. Jihad teaches primarily in MSA, although he is a specialist in Sana’ani and Taiz’i dialects. |

Name: Mohammed Abdu Rahman Thabit Education: B.A. Arabic Language and Translation Hometown: Taiz, Yemen Mohammed graduated from Sana’a University’s Language College with a bachelor degree in Arabic and translation in 2004. He has worked at the YCMES since 2007, specializing in MSA and international politics. In fact, he is currently advising a master’s student at YCMES on American foreign policy in Yemen. Mohammed has received special training certificates for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers from Dr. Peter Abad and Amal-Atia of Sana’a University. |

Name: Fadal Abdullah Al-Kaasimi Education: B.A. Arabic Language and Literature (unfinished) Hometown: Manakah, Yemen Fadal studied at Sana’a University’s Language College for a bachelor degree in Arabic in 2007. He has worked at YCMES since 2005, advising numerous international doctoral and master’s students on topics such as: Yemeni poetry, Houthi political theory, and Yemeni religious dialectical expression, among others. Fadal has received special education and training in Islamic religious studies, and teaches in MSA and Sana’ani dialect. |

She has worked at the YCMES since 2007, specializing in MSA and international politics. In fact, she is currently advising a master’s student at YCMES on American foreign policy in Yemen.
